Journey of Abyss is an adventure game that combines compelling storytelling with Roguelike deckbuilding
We hope to maintain a pure deckbuilding experience: no RPG-style upgrades, and no equipment upgrading. Build a unique deck for every playthrough, and defeat powerful enemies.
Four game modes are available for players to enjoy:
Story Mode - Here you can experience the world, following the main character on a bizarre journey, fighting to unravel the hidden truths of this world.
Abyssal Mode - In this game mode, you can fight your way through randomly generated levels and monster encounters. Select from multiple difficulties for a true challenge.
Weekly Challenges - Every Monday the format changes, providing a unique challenge for players to overcome. Earn points for successful completions. At the end of the week, the players with the highest scores will be awarded prizes.
Tower of Souls - A pure PvP playground. You won’t have access to your talent tree or any outside buffs, just you and a deck devised to defeat the competition. Challenge yourself and improve.
If you enjoy challenging roguelike deck builders, and you’re tired of RPGs that call themselves “card games”, then we hope you enjoy Journey of Abyss.
Once you get how it works figured out its a fun game. Always for the love of god shield or you will get wreaked!
I love the game play and the main story is very good...but, the constant loading between every turn is a major problem. Why the need for a constant internet connection? And not everyone has Facebook, how about a way to log in for the rest of us besides guest? Other than that a very solid, entertaining and fun experience. Good job.
I'm not sure if this game doesn't support my device (OnePlus 7T Pro) all I know is I purchased this on my Galaxy Note 9 2 days ago, I recently upgraded my phone and now whenever I try to boot my game on this device it's just a black screen! Would give a better review if I could actually play what I paid for.
It's obvious that the developers love their gam3 with the very unique feeling art style combined with an intriguing story. What knocks this game down two stars is that Facebook login doesn't work at the moment, there are some bugs pertaining to enemies locking up occasionally for extended periods of time for no reason and the sound quality of all the non-music audio sounds bitcrushed and garbled. Its very grating to listen to. I recommend it, but please fix the severe audio issues.
Lovely game with both story and strategy aspects to pull you in. I appreciate apps like these where paying a little price protects from the barage of pay to win or ads so common these days. Though the Facebook login issue of other comments is annoying, you're free to play without an account. However, I second the notion of having more account options in the long term.
