The barcode scanner works about 30% of the time. Only once has the scan pulled incorrect information. Rather, the scanner won't detect a barcode or takes an exceptionally long time to recognize the barcode. Once it has been scanned, the application works fine. The interface is less than user friendly, but it is a sufficient application for the price.
Simple as expected
ExLibris is fairly priced at 99 cents -- it does exactly what the screenshots show and no more. I was excited by the statistics view, but disappointed that I could not make new folders to sort my books into. I was also frustrated by the tendency for the "Notes" tab of a newly entered book to erase itself after entry, and certain fields (such as "release") insist on day, month and year when the information is not often available. Can't say I wasted any money, but I had my fingers crossed for a bargain gem. Looks like I'll keep hunting for a good library application that isn't as fancy as Delicious Library.

Just looking for a new way to try and figure out what all I have. Free is always nice so giving this a try. I do wish there wasw a way to get extra colums for things like series of books but seems pretty good so far. My only real complaint or question is about seeing the book covers. It acts like it wants to be as simple as Itunes an just drag an image from the web onto the spot for it. Problem is it doesn't ever show up.
It looks great, but the new update will not find any of the books i search for. Needs to be fixed.
